During one of the violent attacks at Gwoza a little boy watched his elder brother and Father being killed.His mother was deeply pained.Her husband was her pillar and Loosing two loved ones in a day was shocking for her but there was no time to mourn the dead and she knew that the only way to stay alive was to flee their home. Now a widow and faced with the responsibility to take care of her little son and his elder sister,she made up her mind to keep them safe. Internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Borno state come to mind each time I think of the recent pandemic COVID 19. How much of social distancing can they practice? While you try to picture it you should bear in mind that they live in camps and are quiet a number.Today I would like to share a really short story on this virus,. A true story on COVID 19 in Maidugur i Borno state Nigeria Halima is a Humanitarian worker working with an NGO in Maiduguri, going out to the field would have been like every other day but with all the news on COVID 19, today was different.
